Menurut penganalisis, pesawat jet pejuang ini selain ianya hebat dari segi kelajuannya dan keupayaaanya mendaki, ia juga sukar dikesan olah radar kerana menggunakan teknologi yang sama dengan pesawat pejuang stealth. Ia adalah katogari jet pejuang dari genarasi ke 4. Jarak simpanannya minyaknya melebihi 3,000 km (jarak penerbangan). Kelajuan maksimumnya menyamai MIG 29 sementara keupayaan mendakinya jauh lebih hebat dari mana-mana pesawat pejuang di dunia. Jestru itu tidak hairanlah jika pesawat jenis "multi role" ini boleh menjalankan tanggung-jawabnya dengan baik, tidak kira samada sebagai pengiring mahupun "interseptor"/pemintas.
Jika pesawat ini yang mahu dibeli oleh Malaysia untuk menggantikan MIG 29 kita, penulis tidak akan membantah, kerana sememangnya ianya lebih hebat dan dikatakan terhebat di kala ini. Tetapi dari segi harganya pula, sudah tentulah kita tidak termampu, iaitu kira-kira hampir RM 500 Juta sebuah. Bayangkan untuk mempunyai sebuah skuadran kecil seperti skuadran F18 (8 buah) kita perlukan RM 4.0 Billion tidak termasuk alat-ganti, latihan dan kos penyelenggaraan.
Sekadar perbandingan sila lihat video dibawah. Ada sedikit kesilapan "taipan/typo error" Kelajuan semua jet-jet pejuang ini adalah melebihi 2.0 Mach. Mana yang kurang itu adalah "typo error", harap maklum. Jika diperhatikan Jet-jet pejuang Sukhoi SU 27, Sukhoi SU 30 dan Sukhoi SU 35 mempunyai rupabentuk yang hampir sama, begitu juga halnya dengan MIG 29 dan MIG 35. Pada pengamatan penulis model-model ini hanyalah model yang dinaik-taraf. Sehingga 2008 Sukhoi SU 35 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukhoi_Su-35) dan MIG 35 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikoyan_MiG-35) yang digunakan oleh tentera Soviet bolehlah dikatakan sebagai jenis model prototaip (kurang/hanya 10 buah bagi setiap model).
